I thought it appropo' I discuss Scary thoughts and fears so close to Halloween and all...I've not much celebrated the holiday aside from Trick or Treating with the kids and of course taste testing, er safety checking, their (chocolate) treats...Yet even more frightening to me today is the day. Here we are and here it is. I've decided to home school my twins. Even as I write I still wonder if this is best for them. They've had a bit of an adjustment and somewhat culture shock to the ways of the Southwest. Who knew States divided could by a river and imaginary line could be worlds apart from what you once knew, only knew.
With prayful consideration we felt it best we give homeschooling a shot. So many reasons. Unfortunately their teachers were quite amazing which makes this decision all that more difficult. I'm not sure how amazing I can be, although equipped with the right degree, still I hope I can give them everything they need to succeed in the "real world" Math, Sciences...going to drum up resources and arm myself with a pile of reinforncements. Language Arts and the Arts in general - we got this!
